The Hytrans system can be supplied in a variety of configurations consisting of containers fixed installed on a truck or trailer chassis or in a wide range of modular units. Containers can be supplied in hook-arm DROPS body demountable units, which in turn carry modular HydroSub pumper units and/or hose boxes and /or waterway modules which are dedicated to carrying all the equipment required to set up an emergency water supply system.
The demountable skid units usually have forward position storage cabinets, in which the HRU can also be stowed.
Specialist Vehicles
The HSHLFT Vehicle is developed as versatile fire-fighting vehicle.
At small fires, it can supply water from the tank (4000ltrs), by using the submersible pump. In this case, the submersible pump stays in the cabinet, and is connected to the tank on the suction side, and to the outlet distribution pipe work on the pressure side.
For larger fires, the unit can take water from an open source by using the submersible pump (HFS3000). Also, the HSHLTF carries 2000 mtr of 6" hose.
